Lyrics by Barry Clark
Arranged by Big Dumb Animals

That lock of hair you always twist,
A dab of perfume on your wrist.
A stolen glance you'll never miss.
One slow dance surely would be bliss.

Around the corner and up your block,
Past your house I would walk.
Kick a can, skip a rock,
All tongue-tied, too shy to talk.

	Chorus:
	The siren's call, I took the fall.
	Young hearts ache one and all.
	The siren's call, I took the fall.
	Young hearts break one and all.

A lighted window, the shades are drawn;
A silhouette, a siren song.
I'll serenade you down on the lawn;
Oh no, I'm silent, standing here 'til dawn.

Gads, this version is way too fast... time for the drummer to switch to decaf, or beer... ah, well, we've mostly shifted this one over to the acoustic set where we play it at a less frantic tempo, and with Rae singing harmony. But there's some really nice guitar work in here...
